Exercise for mental health……
Exercise helps distinguish my negative energy and sets a light my positive energy
I exercise for the head now as much as I exercise for my body and fitness.
Exercise helps me destress, accomplish challenges and helps me with my mental toughness. I make commitments to train, and I know I will always feel good after I follow through on my commitment.
It helps me to release negative energy and helps me focus for the day. I can now balance my exercise. I do not train my ego anymore just my body and mind. I do not need to compete, and I do not need to run the fastest or lift the heaviest anymore. Do not get me wrong I am ultra-competitive and always will be, but I have acceptance that my best is enough whether I win or lose cause I know I always give my best and I am happy with that.
I like to be active every day whether that’s walking the dog or training in the gym 3 to 4 times a week.
Healthy body plus a healthy mind gives me a happy life.
I passionately believe the healthier and fitter I am the more I can take on any challenge that comes my way.
